There were three other groups intended to be contested, featuring three teams apiece. They were organized as follows: Graz, Klagenfurt, Villach - Bregenz, Feldkirch, Innsbruck - Salzburg, Leoben, Steyr.
It was then planned for the group winners to face the Vienna champion for the Austrian Championship, but it appears that the groups were not staged and that no final was arranged. Engelmann became national champions by winning the Viennese title.
