Baltimore, Maryland

Hockey returned to Baltimore for the first time since 1898 with the opening of Carlin's Iceland on December 14, 1931. The Baltimore Amateur Ice Hockey League was formed, composed of the Forest Park Hockey Club, University of Maryland (Dental School), Green Spring Valley Club, Mount Washington Club, Johns Hopkins University, and the Walbrook Hockey Club.

Montana

The Butte City League was contested once again, with the Clarkes winning the title. A four team tournament was staged in Butte in mid-February. Great Falls claimed the state title after defeating the Missoula All-Stars, winners of the tournament, twice.

Washington

There was an amateur competition in Seattle known as the Puget Sound Hockey League in 1931-32. Seattle also had an all-star team that played Portland. The Inland Empire Hockey League, composed of three teams from Spokane and the Couer d'Alene Eskimos, returned for another season. Washington State University formed a team, and challenged Idaho University to a game. Gonzaga also had a team, though no games are recorded to have taken place.
