The 1962-63 Austrian Nationalliga B season was won by ATSE Graz, who earned promotion to the Austrian Hockey League.
Regular season
Western Group
HC Innsbruck-Pradl qualified for the national final.
Eastern Group
Hofgastein qualified for the national final. They forfeited their participation in it as they had no money to travel and a poorly regulated rink.
Southern Group
SV Leoben finished first, but played out of competition, so the second place team, ATSE Graz, advanced to the final in their place.
