Scottish Corinthians
The Scottish Corinthians were a skating club that consisted of an ice hockey section, based in Glasgow, Scotland.
The first Corinthians team was formed around 1909-1910 and was among the founding members of the Scottish Ice Hockey Association. The team played in a "house league" competition against a few other teams, once regarded as a "First Division" in a newspaper article, and also supplied several players for the first two international matches against England.
The second Corinthians club was one of the 11 associations to re-form in the Scottish Ice Hockey Association in 1929. It appears likely that this team was the same as the old club, although it is unconfirmed.
The club was initially slated to participate in the first season of the Scottish League, but due to a shortage of players, they merged with Glasgow Skating Club.
