The Linzer Bicycle Club was founded in 1927. The club was originally known as the Linzer Bicycle Club-LASK, changing their name in 1928.

They were admitted to the Austrian Ice Hockey Federation (OEHV) as a temporary member in November 1927. The club was admitted a full member on April 21, 1928.

The club began playing friendly matches in 1928 and took part in numerous games against local opponents during the 1920s and 1930s. They were set to participate in the Provincial Championship (2. Klasse - West) in 1933-34, but withdrew on January 2, 1934.

In 1935-36, they played one game in the weather-shortened Provincial Championship, losing to EV Gmunden 3-1. Linzer BC was renamed Linzer ETV in October 1936. The new club was recognized as its successor by the OEHV.
