Hokejski Klub Slavija (English:Slavija Hockey Club), commonly referred to as HK Slavija or simply Slavija, currently known as HK Playboy Slavija[1] due to sponsorship reasons, is an ice hockey club from Ljubljana, Slovenia. The club was founded in 1964. The club's best result was first place in the regular season, and second place in the playoffs.

The club's roots go back to the 1950s, when a team by the name of HK Papirničar Vevče was established. It was named after the Vevce paper mill, and was initially made up of players who worked at the factory. They played in the Yugoslav Ice Hockey League during the 1952-53 season, finishing in ninth place. Vevce also took part in the league in 1954-55, taking sixth place. Their greatest success was achieved in the 1955-56 season, when the club defeated HK Jesenice 4-2 and HK Celje 3-1 to become Slovenian Republic champions. It was renamed HK Slavija in 1964.

Arena

The team play their home matches at the Zalog Ice Hall, a 1,000 capacity ice hall in Ljubljana.
