HC Flyers
HC Flyers was an ice hockey club from Karlskoga in Örebro County, Sweden. The team is based out of Nobelhallen. The association was founded in 1972 under the name Karlskoga HC. The first season was played in Swedish Division 4 Östra Värmland where they finished second, which meant moving to Swedish Division 3. The club became known for much entertainment during home games, and managed to attract many spectators. The public record was set on February 11, 1973, in a meaningless match against Skåre BK in Division 4, where 3,586 were in attendance.
In 2013, Karlskoga HC's A-team withdrew from competition, but by 2015 they were back again under the new name HC Flyers. Youth activities were managed in cooperation with BIK Karlskoga. Karlskoga HC played in Division 1 (Hockeyettan) in 2002-03 and 2003-04. After reorganization, the team spent the 2015-16 season in Division 3, and 2016-2022 in Swedish Division 2, before going dormant once again.
