After qualifying for the Mestis (winning their games 4:1 and 4:4) KalPa Kuopio was declared Suomi-sarja champions.

Relegation

Titaanit Kotka and RoKi-79 both retained their spots in the Suomi-sarja for the following season. Etelä-Portimo-72 Ylitornio was promoted from the 2. Divisioona as Komu HT Korsholm withdrew from the Suomi-sarja.
