The 1976-77 2e série season was the fourth season of the 2e série, the third level of ice hockey in France. Les Houches won the championship, and Nimes was promoted to the Nationale B.

West

A player from HG Nantes, Philippe Parthenay, played under a false identity for three matches and received a six month suspension. Brest won the championship but was disqualified due to an administrative issue. Cholet won the Armor Challenge.
