1968 Icelandic Championship

The 1968 Icelandic Championship was played as a town competition (bæjakeppni) between Skautafélag Akureyrar and Skautafélag Reykjavíkur. There was also a "rapid competition" (hraðkeppni) contested.

The first official town competition was staged on February 3, 1968. The Sjóvá insurance company provided a trophy for the towns to compete for.
