The 1966-67 Gruppenliga season was the fifth season of the Gruppenliga and the second season of the league as the second-level competition in East Germany.

In the Eastern group final SG Boxberg defeated SG Dynamo Zittau 5:1 and 6:3. The second match was stopped early due to an injury suffered by the Zittau goalkeeper.
