The 1962-63 Belarusian SSR Championship was contested by six teams, and won by Minsk I. It was played in Minsk from February 26-March 3, 1963.

Regular season

Minsk I defeated Vitebsk Region 4:3, Mogilev Region 10:1, Minsk Region 5:2, Gomel Region 2:0, and Minsk II 4:2.

BSSR Trade Union Olympics

This tournament was played in Mogilev in February. Teams from all regions participated, with the exception of Grodno. The ice for the event was rather poor. The Vitebsk Region team and Minsk I were undefeated when they met, the latter side winning 2:1. Minsk I also beat Minsk Region 7:5, Mogilev Region 7:1, Brest 9:0, and Gomel by forfeit. Vitebsk Region finished second, Gomel Region third, Minsk Region fourth, Mogilev Region fifth, and Brest Region sixth. Not all results are known, so a final table is unavailable.
