The 1956-57 Nationalliga B season was the 10th season of the league as the second-level of Swiss ice hockey. Lausanne HC won the championship and qualified for the National League A's relegation round.

Montana played the second-placed 1. Liga team, while Chur faced the league champion.
- HC Montana - Saint-Imier 10:3 (4:0, 4:2, 2:1)

Sierre was promoted, while Chur was relegated.
