The 1949-50 Tatra Cup was the 20th edition of the tournament. It was won by ZSJ Zdar LTC Praha.

The tournament was played from February 11-12, 1950, in Tatranska Lominca and Poprad. It was a national competition this year.[1]

The games were played outdoors, as they had been at every Tatra Cup, and a recent thaw led to very poor ice conditions. Multiple games were aborted partway through due to bad ice.
