The BBTE Christmas Tournament was organized by BBTE Budapest on December 25 and 16, 1929. Four teams participated, and the hosts won the tournament.[8]

There was a competition organized by FTC Budapest known as the FTC Tournament. It was a six team competition that used a single-elimination format. BKE Budapest II won the tournament.

Magyar Úszó Egylet arranged a competition called the MUE Tournament. Four teams participated in the single-elimination competition, which was won by FTC Budapest.

BKE Budapest organized a tournament at the behest of the Magyar Hockey Club, known as the MHC Tournament. Eight teams entered the competition, all of them playing in a single-elimination preliminary round. The four winners advanced to the final round, which was played in a round-robin format. MHC won the tournament.
