This was the 1921-22 season in Hungary:

Overview

In December, it was reported that a hockey tournament featuring 11 teams was planned to be contested. The participants were listed as BKE, MAC, BBTE, MAFC, MEC, MOVE, Ludov ASE, Kelenf LTC, FTC, ETE and BEAC. An ice hockey subclass within the Hungarian Skating Association was also created.[1]

  • December 18: MAC Budapest - BKE Budapest 9:3 (5:2, 4:1) - MAC goals: Lator (4), Krempelsz (3), Kehrling (2)[2]
    • Rosters: MAC: Boross-Olah A., Bauer-Minich-Lator. Krempelsz P., Kehrling. BKE: Heinrich G.-Pozel, Barna-Back-Reitzner, Pasztor, Count Csaky I.

There was a tournament played for the Zsigmondy Prize in January 1922. The games were played 2x15. MAFC was also slated to participate, but withdrew.[3]

Another tournament was arranged by BKE Budapest in February for the Count Csaky Cup. Three matches were played.[4]

The first and second teams of BKE Budapest played propaganda games against one another in Gyor and Sopron. The first team won 7:5 in Gyor, while the second team was victorious 6:4 in the game at Sopron.[5]
