The 1916-17 Vienna Ice Hockey Championship was the fifth season of the competition. It was contested by six teams, and the Wiener Eislauf Verein won the championship.

First Vienna FC 1894 withdrew from the competition just prior to their first scheduled match against Kunsteisbahn on December 24, 1916.
