The Edmonton Hockey Club challenged the holders, the Winnipeg Maple Leafs, for the trophy.

• 1/11: Edmonton HC - Winnipeg Maple Leafs 13:5
• 1/13: Edmonton HC - Winnipeg Maple Leafs 3:2

Edmonton HC gained possession of the trophy, defeating Winnipeg 16 goals to 7.

Edmonton then received a challenge from Saskatoon.

• 2/1: Edmonton HC - Saskatoon 12:6
• 2/3: Edmonton HC - Saskatoon 19:3

Edmonton retained the trophy, and were later challenged by the Winnipeg Shamrocks, champions of the Manitoba Professional Hockey League.

• 3/1: Edmonton HC - Winnipeg Shamrocks 6:5
• 3/3: Edmonton HC - Winnipeg Shamrocks 9:4

Edmonton retained the trophy, beating Winnipeg 15 goals to 9. They received another challenge from Moose Jaw, champions of the Saskatchewan Hockey League.

• 3/9: Edmonton HC - Moose Jaw 10:8
• 3/11: Edmonton HC - Moose Jaw 8:3

Edmonton retained the trophy until the following season, defeating Moose Jaw 18 goals to 11.
