Star Lausanne

Star Lausanne was an ice hockey team based in Lausanne, Switzerland. The club was founded on February 7, 1923. In 1941, they moved to the newly built artificial ice rink in the Montchoisi district and subsequently merged with the Lausanne-Université ice hockey team to form Montchoisi HC. This new club then sometimes played under the name Blue Star, before the former members of Star HC decided to form their own club in 1958.

Star Lausanne played in the third-tier Swiss 1. Liga until 2016. In 2009, the club became league champions and participated in the promotion round to the National League B, but lost in the final to hosts EHC Frauenfeld by 1:3.

In 2016, the club merged with HC Forward-Morges to form a new club, Star Forward.
