EG Diez-Limburg

EG Diez-Limburg, Eissportgemeinschaft Diez-Limburg; also abbreviated to EGDL, is a men's ice hockey team from Diez, Germany. The team was established in 2004, and is based out of the 3,300 capacity Eissporthalle Diez. They had gradually advanced up the chain of German hockey leagues from the 6th tier upon founding to as high as the third tier Oberliga in 2022-23. Due to their location outside of the North Rhine-Wesphalia area they were one of two teams removed from the league. They would join the Central European Hockey League (then the BeNe Liga) for the 2023-24 season, and would return to the German 4th tier Regionalliga West for the 2025-26 season.
