The Arab Ice Hockey Federation is an ice hockey association of countries and the national teams of the Arab world.

History

After the first edition of the Arab Cup of Ice Hockey in June 2008, the four participating nations, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Morocco and Algeria decided in December to establish a joint association to represent their own interests at the international level and to strengthen cooperation among themselves. The AIHF was to host the Arab Cup of Ice Hockey annually (from 2010 and 2011, respectively), but the events were not held. The next tournament did not take place until 2023.

Bahrain and Tunisia would later join the AIHF, bringing the total membership to six nations.
