This is the 1939-40 competition for the Hamilton B. Wills Trophy:
This was a competition between the American teams of the Eastern Hockey League and various Canadian senior teams.
All of the games were played in the United States at the home of the American team.
The games counted in the Eastern League standings but not in any Canadian standings.
