The Latvian Bandy Championship was the national bandy competition in Latvia. The first bandy games were played in the country in 1911, and the Rustad Cup was contested between Union Riga and Siegfried. Although the first ice hockey match was staged in 1909, bandy was the preferred style of play in Latvia until 1930.
