Jugend-Wanderpreis des OeEHV

The Jugend-Wanderpreis des OeEHV was established by the Austrian Ice Hockey Federation in 1934, as the previous Jugend-Wanderpreis had been claimed permanently by the Wiener EV organization.

Unlike the previous incarnation, the challenge trophy was donated by the OEHV itself. According to the tournament's regulations, after two victories in consecutive years or three wins overall, the cup should pass into the ownership of the club. The competition was open all junior teams affiliated with the OEHV, if they fulfilled the same age conditions.

The games were played in 2x15 minutes with a 10 minute break. Combined teams from several clubs were allowed. The name of each year's champion was engraved in the cup and the team members received a badge of honor. In 1934 the game time was switched to 3x10 minutes.

The cup was earned by Wiener EV after two consecutive wins in 1934 and 1935, but it remained in competition in subsequent years.
