The 1962-63 Promozione season was the 18th recorded edition of the second-level Italian competition. HC Alleghe won the championship.

HC Alleghe declined promotion to the Serie A, feeling they would be unable to obtain the foreign players needed to compete at that level, so Torino was promoted in their place.
