The 1953-54 Promozione season was the ninth recorded edition of the second-level Italian competition. HC Torino won the championship.

First round

Western Group

HC Valpellice underwent a pseudo-merger with the newly-created Torino HC. HCV's president, Giorgio Cotta, placed the club's top players on THC, while Valpellice served as the second team in the organization. The merger was viewed as a "betrayal" in Torre Pellice, the hometown of HC Valpellice.
