1946–47 Belgian Hockey League season

The 1946-47 Belgian Championship was the 27th season of the national ice hockey competition in Belgium. Brussels IHSC won the championship, for their seventh title in eight years and the 11th overall.

Championship

Official records list Brussels IHC as 1947 Belgian champions, but no contemporary sources list any game results. On April 2, 1947, after the season had ended, it was noted in Le Peuple that there were hopes of arranging more events at the Antwerp ice rink in 1948, and the following quote was made: “can we wish to see the Belgian ice hockey championship resume, for example?” This seems to indicate that the competition did not take place in 1947. It is possible BIHC was awarded the title by default.
