The 1962-63 Gruppenliga season was the second season of the Gruppenliga, the third level of ice hockey in Germany. 12 teams participated in the league, and TSV Holzkirchen won the championship.

Blau-Weiß Wickede, winners of the Nordrhein-Westfalen Championship, were the only team entered, and earned promotion by default.
