Franz "Emil" Pipes was an Austrian ice hockey player. He was a member of the Austrian national team, represented by DEHG Prag, at the European Championships in 1912 and 1913.

Pipes played club hockey for DEHG Prag from 1908-1914 and again in 1922. His older, Fritz Pipes, also played for DEHG and in international competitions.
