The 1903 English Club Championship was awarded to the London Canadians. It was the first and only time they won the title in this form. The Canadians also claimed the English Ice Hockey League the following year.[1]

The Canadians defeated Princes Ice Hockey Club in the final, 8-4, to win the cup. After two 20 minute periods, the score was tied at four, but the Canadians poured in four unanswered goals in the 10 minute overtime period to take the cup.[2]

There was also a game between Princes and the Canadians at Prince's Club on November 26, 1902. The Canadians jumped out to a 4-2 lead, but Princes tied the score. A goal by Carr-Harris won the match for the Canadians, 5-4.[3]

Princes had previously regained the cup from Cambridge University with a 3-2 victory on March 14. Earlier in the year, the two sides had drawn 7-7 in a match played on January 31.[4]

There was also a competition for the London Ice Rink Hockey Challenge Cup held in 1903. Princes defeated Amateur Skating Club 3-1 in the final at Hengler's Ice Rink on March 31 to claim the cup.[5]
