The 1963-64 Promozione season was the 19th recorded edition of the second-level Italian competition. HC Alleghe won the championship.
First round
- Western Group
Amatori Milano and HC Asiago advanced to the final round. Other participants: Alhof Madesimo, Ambrosiano Milano.
- Eastern Group
HC Alleghe and HC Brunico advanced to the final round.

Alleghe repeated as champions and, this time, accepted promotion to the Serie A. By now the club had a sponsor, Teofilo Sanson, and mobilized the local authorities.
