The 1958-59 Polish 3. Liga season was divided into multiple regional groups, with the top teams advancing to the promotion round to the Polish 2. Liga.
Silesian Group
- Polonia Bytom - advanced to promotion round
- Kolejarz Piotrowice - advanced to promotion round
- Elektro Łaziska Górne - 14 pts, 37:61 goals
- Stal Sosnowiec
- Lechia 06 Mysłowice
- Gwardia Katowice
- Górnik Murcki
- Lechia Kobiór - withdrew during the season
Rzeszow Group
The format was changed this year, with two levels of play (Klase A and B) being introduced. Teams: Klasę A: Czuwaj Przemyśl, Legia Krosno, Resovia, Sanoczanka Sanok, Stal Rzeszów, Klasę B: JKS Jarosław, Krośnianka Krosno, LZS Przysieki, Stal Stalowa Wola. Stal Stalowa Wola withdrew, in protest of having been placed in Klase B.
Final standings (Klase A): 1. Sanoczanka Sanok, 2/3. Resovia, 2/3. Stal Rzeszów, 4. Legia Krosno. Some games were not completed, and it was planned to play them at the start of the 1959-60 season, but this did not materialize.
Sanok declined to participate in the promotion round to the Polish 2. Liga. In Klase B, JKS Jaroslaw was promoted, finishing ahead of Przysieki and Krosno.
