This was the 1925-26 season in English ice hockey:

The 1926 Varsity Match between Oxford and Cambridge University was played on January 4 at St. Moritz.

While in St. Moritz, Oxford also drew one game with the London Lions and lost another to them 3-2. They defeated a local St. Moritz team. Cambridge lost to the Lions twice by small margins.[1] On January 6, the Lions defeated Cambridge 3-1.[2]

The London Lions were scheduled to face Manchester at the Manchester Ice Palace on March 13.[3]
