This was the 1925-26 season in English ice hockey:

On December 10, 1925, there was an ice hockey game played outdoors at Coldstream (Home Park) between mixed teams of Coldstream and Berwick. The home side led 3-1 at the half and won the match 4-3. J.W.G. Logan and D.C. McCreath officiated the match.[1]

The 1926 Varsity Match between Oxford and Cambridge University was played on January 4 at St. Moritz.

While in St. Moritz, Oxford also drew one game with the London Lions and lost another to them 3-2. They defeated a local St. Moritz team. Cambridge lost to the Lions twice by small margins.[2] On January 6, 1926, the Lions defeated Cambridge 3-1.[3] Three days later, the Lions beat Oxford 5-0.[4]

The London Lions were scheduled to face Manchester at the Manchester Ice Palace on March 13.[5]
