The Kuwait Hockey League is the national competition in Kuwait. It was first held during the 2008-09 season. Four teams participated in the regular season, and the top two teams met in the final, won by Kuwait.[1]
The competition was once again staged in 2012-13, with Qadsia winning the championship.[2] It is unknown if it was held between 2009 and 2012.
Kuwait Airways Club won the championship in 2016 after defeating Sable 10-5 in the final match held on January 4. The competition ran for four weeks and featured the following teams: Touristic Enterprises, Gulf Cables, KAC and Sable.[3]
Four teams participated in the league in 2016-17: Stars, Falcons, Warriors, and Knights. In 2017-18 and 2018-19, the teams were the Stars, Mooseheads, Falcons, and Warriors.
