The Hong Kong Women's Ice Hockey League (HKWIHL) is the national women's ice hockey competition in Hong Kong. It was first contested in 2013-14 as the "first ever international rules complied women’s league competition in Hong Kong". It is sanctioned by the Hong Kong Ice Hockey Association with the Women's Ice Hockey Association and Hong Kong Amateur Hockey Club co-organizing the competition.[1]
There was previously a women's competition that was organized by the Hong Kong Ice Hockey League. It is first known to have been contested in 2009-10 with four teams participating (Orange, Purple, Black, and White).
