In February 1932, ice hockey players from the '''[[Germany|German]] Labour Sport Union''', a member of the CSI (Communist Sports International), under the name '''Fichte''' (after the philosopher Johann Gottlieb Fichte), visited the [[Soviet Union|Soviet]] capital of Moscow to demonstrate the game of ice hockey. 

==Results==
At first, two closed matches were held, against a Moscow selection, and Dynamo Moscow. Surprisingly, both teams dominated their German opponents, winning by double-digit margins.
