The Washington Potomacs were an amateur team in Washington, D.C., that was active from 1961-1966. They played an independent schedule from 1961-1963, and then in the Mid Atlantic Amateur Hockey League from 1963-1965. They changed their name to the Washington Patriots for 1965-66. The team lasted two seasons under this name.
