Sportverein Hollabrunn was founded in Hollabrunn, Austria, in 1928. The Austrian Ice Hockey Federation (OEHV) granted its member clubs permission to play Hollabrunn in January 1929, and the club was admitted into the OEHV as a temporary member in December 1929.
The club was listed as a welfare organization of the OEHV in 1932-33, and withdrew from the association later that year. However, they were still actively playing hockey by the 1938-39 season.
