The Sportpaleis Merksem was an indoor ice rink in Antwerp, Belgium. It opened in 1933.
It was the largest indoor arena in Europe at the time, with room for 21,000 spectators. Although it is no longer used as an ice rink, the facility is still in existence.
According to Billboard Magazine, the Sportpaleis is the second most visited event hall in the world, second only to Madison Square Garden.
