SC Turbine Erfurt was an ice hockey team in Erfurt, East Germany. They were a member of the sports club of the same name.

The club initially played in the East German 1. Liga, and qualified for the DDR-Oberliga for the 1961-62 season. After only one season in the league, they were relegated back to the 1. Liga. Turbine won the Liga in 1963-64 and returned to the Oberliga the following season.

They went on to play six more seasons in the Oberliga from 1964-1970. After which the club fell victim to the overhaul of the East German hockey system, which saw the Oberliga reduced to two teams. In their place, an amateur outfit - BSG Motor Optima Erfurt - was created and began playing in the Bezirksliga and DDR-Bestenermittlung.
