Puerto Williams Tournament

The Puerto Williams Tournament is an outdoor ice hockey tournament played on the Laguna Zanartu, located outside of Puerto Williams, Chile. Teams compete for the Copa Hermandad Patagonica.

Six teams, hailing from Chile and neighboring Argentina, competed in the inaugural edition of the tournament in August 2018. Nine female players participated, and each team was required to include at least one woman on their roster. In the final, Club Andino Usuhaia defeated fellow Argentinian club Los Nires 9-2 to capture the title. They finished with a perfect 5-0 record.[1] Rest of the World beat Aonikenk Punta Arenas 7-3 in the 3rd place game, and the Tierra del Fuego Unidos defeated Magallanes Hockey 4-3 in the 5th place game.[2]

The second edition of the tournament was held in July 2019, and featured men's, women's and U16 mixed divisions. Teams from Punta Arenas and Le Serena, Chile, Usuhaia, Argentina, and Quito, Ecuador competed.[3]
