MOSiR Sosnowiec

MOSiR Sosnowiec was an ice hockey team based in Sosnowiec, Poland. They played in the Polish 2. Liga during the early 1990s. Their home arena was the Stadion Zimowy Sosnowiec.

In the 1991–92 Polska Liga Hokejowa season, KH Zagłębie Sosnowiec withdrew from the competition after the end of the first round. It was then possible for the players of Zagłębie to join the MOSiR Sosnowiec team, participating in the Polish 2. Liga, but the latter side also dropped out before the end of the season.

The following year, MOSiR won the 2. Liga title by defeating defeating Boruta Zgierz (10:3 and 7:6) in two matches. They then competed in a promotion series, succumbing to the Stoczniowiec Gdańsk in a two game series. In 1993-94, the club finished 5th in the Silesia Group.
