Ludvigs Putnins (1920 - January 27, 1945) was a Latvian hockey player. He played a total of 10 games for the Latvian National Team at the World Championships in 1938 and 1939, scoring seven goals.

He spent his entire club career with ASK Riga. Putnins also played football and represented Latvia internationally.

He fought in World War II and was killed in battle on January 27, 1945.
