The Leningrad Izhorets were a men's ice hockey team from Kolpino in Leningrad (now Saint-Petersburg) Soviet Union/Russia. The team was established in 1980 as an extension of the existing Izhorets hockey team which was organized in 1963 and the Izhorsk plant had a factory team participating in the Leningrad championships dating back to 1948. The new team was a member of the Vtoraya Liga until advancing to the Pervaya Liga at the end of the 1982-83 season. The club would be returned to the Vtoraya Liga after the 1988-89 season. The team entered into a steady decline financially and in the league standings when the plant refused to help finance the team and the team was then supported by private sources. By its' final season in 2003-04 the team was using the name Lokomotiv.
