Kapitan Stupino is an ice hockey team in Stupino, Russia. Since 2011 the team has played in the Minor Hockey League, the top-level Russian junior league.
History
Trud Stupino was founded in 1951. In January 1999, the club became Kapitan Stupino. The newly-minted Kapitan initially played in the Stupino District Championship, and then the Moscow Championship. They won this competition and earned a spot in the third-level Pervaya Liga.
Stupino competed in the multi-national Eastern European Hockey League in the 2002-03 season. The club finished eighth in Division 1.
They played in the second-level Vysshaya Liga from 2005 to 2009. After withdrawing from the 2009-10 season, Kapitan joined the Minor Hockey League in 2011.
