Jiri Hertl (April 24, 1917 - January 25, 1976) was a Czechoslovak hockey player. He played in two games for the Czechoslovak National Team at the 1939 World Championship.

He also competed at the 1940 International Week of Winter Sports. At the club level, Hertl played for I. CLTK Praha and LTC Praha.

He later became a coach and taught goalie clinics. At the age of 50, the long-retired Hertl returned to play in goal for two matches against the United States and HC Dynamo Moscow at the 1967 Pre-Olympic Tournament.
