Hugo Robert William Stonor (October 5, 1887 - August 8, 1941) was a British hockey player. He won a gold medal with the British national team at the 1910 European Championship.[1]

Biography

A strong and physical player who was both a defenseman and a left wing, Stonor played his club hockey with Princes Ice Hockey Club from 1908 to 1911. He was a member of the British national team that won the inaugural European Championship staged in Les Avants in 1910.

Stonor was a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army Service Corps. He died at the Radcliffe Infirmary in Oxford on August 8, 1941.
