Johann "Hans" Ertl (born January 30, 1909) was an Austrian hockey player who played for the Austrian National Team at five major international tournaments.
At the club level, Ertl played for EK Engelmann Wien in Austria until 1933. He then joined the Swiss club Zurcher SC and later SG Cortina (1934-1936). Ertl then became a member of Berliner Schlittschuhclub in 1938.
He played for the German National Team (Austria had been annexed into Germany at the time) at the 1940 International Week of Winter Sports tournament.
Ertl finally retired as an active player after serving as a player-coach for HC Crans-Montana in Switzerland in 1950-51.
