HK Bled
HK Bled was an ice hockey team in Bled, Slovenia. It played in various different competitions throughout its existence.
The club played in the Yugoslav Ice Hockey League during the 1990-91 season, the final year of the league's existence, finishing in sixth place.
After independence from Yugoslavia, Bled joined the Slovenian Ice Hockey League, where they played from 1991-2003. They were relatively successful in the league, finishing third on seven different occasions (1992, 1993, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2002).
Bled also played alongside Austrian and Italian teams in the Alpenliga from 1995-1999. In 1994-95 the club played in the Six Nations Tournament tournament as HK Sportina Bled. Bled later played in the multi-national Interliga in the 2000-01 and 2002-03 seasons.
The club suffered financial difficulties in the latter portion of the 1990s and dissolved after the 2002-03 season.
